Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University; Prof. Mahmoud Farouk Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Afaf Abdelaziz Basel, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Tanta University, the Faculty of Nursing organized an educational awareness seminar on supporting and promoting breastfeeding on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

The seminar was delivered by Prof. Shorouq El-Haytami, International Consultant in Breastfeeding and a certified trainer by WHO and UNICEF.

The event was coordinated with the heads of the academic departments of the Faculty, including the Department of Maternal and Neonatal Health Nursing and the Department of Community Health Nursing.
