Vision

Department of Medical, Surgical and Critical Care Nursing at Tanta University aspires to be pioneer in nursing education at undergraduate and postgraduate stages at all scientific departments of the Faculty among counterpart faculties at the local and regional levels in order to cope with requirements of community and changes of health care system. Moreover, the Department seeks to provide an educational environment that enables students and teaching staff to achieve their educational, research and developmental needs.

Mission

Mission of Department of Medical, Surgical and Critical Care Nursing is to foster main foundations of nursing study at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to prepare graduates who are scientifically qualified to practice the profession of nursing, to offer safe comprehensive nursing care and to disseminate health awareness at different health facilities in community. In addition, the Department aims to develop graduates’ administrative and leadership needs. The Department participates in enhancement of the academic role in development of the profession of nursing concerning various health services such as conducting field researches that are related to different nursing sciences and based on community needs.
