On Sunday, August 24, 2025, on the sidelines of their participation in the training of the nursing team at the Tanta Oncology Institute, Prof. Afaf Abdelaziz Bassal, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing – Tanta University, was honored along with:

• Prof. Om Ibrahim El-Saay, former Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs

• Prof. Jehan Younis, Head of the Critical and Emergency Nursing Department

• Prof. Sabah Sharshour, Head of the Pediatric Nursing Department

This recognition was awarded in appreciation of their efforts and valuable contributions to training the nursing team at the Institute.

The honoring also included several faculty members and teaching assistants from the departments of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, and Critical & Emergency Nursing at the Faculty.
