Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of the University, and the General Administration for Student Care (Cultural Activities Department) in collaboration with the Student Care Administration at the Faculty, a seminar titled "You Are Stronger Than Drugs" was held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Afaf Abdel Aziz Bassal, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Esmat Gomaa, Vice Dean for Student Affairs. The seminar featured Dr. Mohamed Alam, the General Supervisor of the Anti-Addiction Fund, as the keynote speaker.

Prof. Dr. Afaf Abdel Aziz Bassal, the Dean of the Faculty, delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the importance of presidential initiatives, particularly the "You Are Stronger Than Addiction" initiative, and the crucial role of the healthcare team in equipping themselves with prevention and treatment methods for addiction.
