Based on the directives of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Afaf Abdel Aziz Basal, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Tanta University, and within the framework of supporting effective participation in quality education activities, Prof. Walaa Eid, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty, participated in the activities of the 8th International Conference of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education entitled: “Micro credentials and the National Qualifications Framework – Bridges Across Borders.”
The conference was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Prof. Mostafa Madbouly, with the participation of a distinguished group of education leaders and quality experts. It took place from April 22–23, 2026, at Al Masa Hotel, Nasr City.
The conference focused on micro credentials as one of the most important tools for developing education and aligning its outcomes with labor market needs through supporting the National Qualifications Framework, enhancing digital learning, strengthening partnerships with the business sector, and promoting the principle of lifelong learning, all of which contribute to increasing the competitiveness of graduates both locally and internationally.
