Objectives

1: Updating the scientific courses assigned to the department including teaching, teaching aids and evaluation system.

2: Updating research plans according to local health requirements of the society and urgent health issues.

3: Preparing excellent graduates to contribute to spreading health awareness and to participate in finding out and solving many different health problems.

4: Preparing an excellent graduate who can provide nursing and educational health care to improve community and family health and to protect from complications and diseases that affect the health of the community members badly.

5: Providing the student with many general skills such as communication, health education, counseling and respecting the patient's rights during taking care of them.
