Aims of the Department


1. To graduate scientifically, academically, cognitively and ethically qualified students to care about patients in all fields and to cope with modern age and scientific advancement.
2. To graduate nursing cadres with high nursing efficiency who are able to deal with community requirements and changes of health care system in the area of nursing.
3. To apply nursing skills in diagnosis and assessments of patients’ health problems.
4. To use therapeutic nursing technology.
5. To apply scientific and behavioral skills in offering health care.
6. To enhance students’ understanding of the nursing profession through knowing about other cultures and their effect on offering health care.
7. To develop the skill of judging clinical cases through scientific inquiry, discretionary reasoning and logical analysis based on evidence and proofs.
